Our visitors are invited to investigate our library. We are happy to help school pupils and students and other interested parties in their research.

Shop

You can find current publications and catalogues from the exhibiting artists as well as postcards and editions in our shop. We are happy to advise you. You can buy all publications directly at the Kunsthaus Baselland or order and pay by bill via email.

House Rules

The house rules serve to make your visit to our exhibition spaces as pleasant as possible and are obligatory for all guests. The protection of persons and works of art in the Kunsthaus Baselland is our main concern.

Kunsthaus Café

We are happy to welcome you during our opening hours at the Kunsthaus Café with a wide range of drinks, such as coffee, wine from the Basel region, fine soft drinks and beer brewed on the Dreispitz area. Discover our offer in combination with a guided tour through the current exhibition. Matinée and lunch tours take place regularly. We also prepare fresh - optionally vegan - sandwiches with sourdough bread. We are looking forward to your visit!

How to find us

Please note that there are two entrances:
via Helsinki-Strasse:
barrier-free main entrance
via Freilager-Platz:
entrance via a staircase (cross Freilager-Platz and the platform of the Haus der elektronischen Künste, then opposite the old track bed)

By public transport

From SBB railway station: About 15 minutes from SBB: Tram no. 11 in the direction of Aesch BL, Dorf to the Freilager stop. Cross the Freilager-Platz and the platform of HEK (House of Electronic Arts)

From Badischer Bahnhof (German railway station): Bus 36 in the direction of Schifflände, get off at the Dreispitz stop, walk to Kunsthaus Baselland or take tram no. 11 in the direction of Aesch BL, Dorf and get off at the Freilager stop. Cross the Freilager-Platz and the platform of HEK (House of Electronic Arts)

By car, A2

Exit Basel Süd/St. Jakob, at the intersection continue straight on Brüglingerstrasse in the direction of Dreispitz, turn left onto Münchensteinerstrasse, then turn right onto Florenz-Strasse and left onto Frankfurter-Strasse to the Ruchfeld parking garage.

By car, A18

Exit Bottmingen / Münchenstein, turn left onto Münchensteinerstrasse, turn right towards Basel, turn left onto Florenz-Strasse and turn left again onto Frankfurter-Strasse to the Ruchfeld parking garage.
