30 minute guided tour 

"If you want to evolve something, first you need a space so people can get together to exchange whatever they're going to exchange."

This quote from a work by artist Tony Cokes serves as the starting point for a special tour marking the International Day of Democracy. Negotiating different perspectives and opinions together requires places in which people can meet. The tour therefore focuses on the Kunsthaus Baselland's outdoor projects and the works in its open foyer. Together, we will explore the role that publicly accessible artworks can play: How do they create spaces for encounter, exchange, and participation?

Admission to the tour is free.

Followed by lunch in the foyer.
