The installations by Isabelle Krieg (born in 1971 in Fribourg, Switzerland, living in Zurich) are brimming with nuances, poetry, and frequent ambiguities.
She takes a completely nonjudgmental approach and is not afraid of using specifically connoted images, disrupting and reinterpreting them. Hence, her sculpture, comprising a dollar sign composed of charred branches, remains dubious and equivocal. Who does it represent?
